Komfort understand that it is our social responsibility to help all the communities that we work with.

Our wide range of projects allows us to understand the needs of all the different environments that we work within. So whether we are doing renovations in different parts of the country or building new developments and infrastructures, we try to provide opportunities for local people to get involved.

It is our responsibility to make sure that we add value to the communities we work within.

Komfort Services have signed the Building Mental Health Charter and partnered with the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity where we are recognised as a ‘Company Supporter‘. The Charity is 100% dedicated to the construction community and they provide free access to a wide range of pro-active resources to support the wellbeing of our workforce.

Working with the Building Mental Health Charter, we collaborate to enhance awareness and comprehension of the effects of poor mental health on our workforce. We promote positive mental health through organised workshops aimed at diminishing stigma and discrimination, fostering open dialogue within the workplace, and guiding employees towards community support resources.

Since our commitment to this initiative, our senior management team has been trained as Mental Health First Adders. We have also participated in the ‘Help Inside the Hard Hat’ campaign, conducting mental health toolbox talks throughout our workforce, and our staff members are now authorised to display the gold ‘M’ sticker on their hard hats.

Komfort Services are registered with Surrey County councils Social Value Marketplace where we contribute our skills, services and donate to various good causes.

“I wanted to reach out to say a massive thank you to Komfort Services for sponsoring our Children’s Summer Event. Our much-loved Children’s Summer Event was a huge success for our looked-after children and foster carers, and this is entirely down to generous sponsorships to make the day possible. We also had a wellbeing area for our foster carers, who were offered a treatment and some well-earned relaxation over tea and cake. I am attaching some photos from the day. Komfort Services refurbished a redundant Scout Hut as part of our social value contribution for a project that we did for ABM and SAS Marlow.

We upgraded the facility to bring it back in use for the local community.

We have been providing support to Harlington Hospice in Hillingdon for several years. This facility specialises in palliative care and assistance for terminally ill patients and their families. In collaboration with the Estates team from Hillingdon Council, we contributed to the restoration of a large, neglected outdoor area at the Hospice that had become overgrown. The Hospice frequently requests our assistance with minor maintenance tasks to ensure their facilities remain well-maintained and functional, a service we are pleased to provide.

Kathryn Underwood from the Hospice remarked, “We are very fortunate to have the continuous support from Komfort Services and are extremely thankful for the prompt response from the Estates team at the London Borough of Hillingdon regarding our garden.”

We have also extended our support to the Michael Sobel Hospice, as Harlington Hospice serves as the Clinical Partner for this unit.

Michael Sobell House provides a supportive and caring environment for individuals facing life-limiting symptoms.

Situated within Mount Vernon Hospital, we consistently contribute to their maintenance needs and have recently upgraded their main reception desk, which had become worn and outdated.
