BRIEF SCOPE

This extensive six-month project involved expanding the vehicle workshop to create larger four-bay units with an elevated roof. It also included an office extension on the site of the building, internal modifications, reclaiming of the existing structure, and the addition of a partial mezzanine.

Additional work encompassed the installation of solar panels on the new roof, anti-cut security-rated shutters for each unit, a Mapei flooring system, and significant mechanical and electrical works, including a new Building Management System.

The project was executed in two phases, as units 1 and 2 were occupied by the current tenant. Initially, units 3 and 4 were completed, allowing the tenant to temporarily relocate there while construction on units 1 and 2 was finalised. This presented a challenging working environment due to the active depot and limited space, necessitating careful planning and coordination with all stakeholders.

The project was successfully completed on schedule and achieved a BREEAM rating of Good.
