BRIEF SCOPE

Rivers Academy, located in West London, accommodates over 1,000 secondary school students. The Academy experienced a significant leak that necessitated extensive repairs and the temporary relocation of students during the construction period.

This project, which lasted five months and took place during the academic year, began with the installation of modular temporary classrooms designed to match the existing facilities, allowing students to continue their education without interruption.

As a result, the ground and first floors of the main building could be completely stripped and refurbished.

The scope of the renovation included replacing all structural elements, such as doors, joinery, and ironmongery, as well as installing new ceilings, skirting boards, flooring, and fresh decorations.

Additionally, all mechanical and electrical systems were upgraded to provide new power, data, and lighting, along with modifications to the existing fire alarm system.

After the completion of the renovations in the main building, students were moved back in, and the temporary modular classrooms were dismantled and removed from the site.
