BRIEF SCOPE
This project was executed in two phases: the external works were completed in phase one, while the internal works took place during the summer holidays. The entire project timeline extended over a period of eight weeks.
The internal works involved a complete renovation of the existing reprographics room and office to create new restroom facilities, including a disabled toilet and a wet room, along with the necessary electrical and mechanical installations. Additionally, a larger office and meeting room were constructed.
The restroom renovations included the installation of above-ground drainage, new plumbing, waste systems, and traps. Below-ground drainage, ventilation extraction, heating, and new lighting were also incorporated. Due to previous blockages, a comprehensive CCTV survey and drainage repairs were conducted.
Access control systems were installed in several existing classrooms.
The external works comprised the partial removal of the metal canopy, the dismantling of the old picket fence, and the installation of a new fence with gates. Furthermore, two large timber gates were replaced with metal gates featuring timber slats for added privacy, and these gates were also equipped with access control systems.
